“The Strade Bianche del Garda” week is perfect for cyclists who enjoy gravel and off-road riding and want to experience riding in Italy on quiet, rural roads and lanes. Our rides will take you on both tarmac and gravel (white) roads and on our “white” roads, we ride without traffic, through vineyards and on paths that follow along ancient walls, with the aroma of the land that changes with the seasons.
The rides are led by a local guide who speaks English and is knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. Our Pinarello Grevil is the perfect bike to take you on a variety of surfaces and terrain.
With a focus on local, artisanal food and wine… you’ll cycle to authentic farms, vineyards, and kitchens in our region, as well as to lakeside and hilltop ancient villages, and on several days, we will stop along the way to have an authentic lunch on the route. We will also visit local towns that have no shortage of gelaterias and local specialty shops.

GRAVEL: WHAT TO EXPECT
Our experienced gravel guides have created six unique gravel routes that prioritize fun, access to unbeatable scenery, and an escape into the quiet countryside. The terrain varies, but mainly incorporates hard-packed farm roads and designated gravel paths, with occasional sections of double track or single track. Our Pinarello Grevil bicycles are equipped with tires that our guides have specifically chosen for performance, control, and comfort in this area.
DETAILED PROGRAM
DAY 1 – Saturday
Arrival, welcome and briefing. Once you arrive, you’ll have a chance to settle in and then have your bike fitting and a bike review on shifters, braking, riding in Italy, etc.
DAY 2 – Sunday
A not too demanding ride along the dirt roads of the morainic hills that will lead us to Valeggio sul Mincio (possibility to stop for lunch savouring the famous tortellini of Valeggio). We will return on the cycle path along the beautiful turquoise Mincio river back to the hotel.
MORENIC HILLS AREA – “SOLFERINO”
63 km, 360 meters of climbing
Short Option: 48 km, 300 meters
DAY 3 – Monday
A tour along the south / east shore of Lake Garda between Peschiera del Garda and the town of Garda. A not too demanding first day interspersed with stretches of white roads surrounded by olive trees overlooking the lake, ideal for getting the right feeling with your new Pinarello Grevil.
EAST SIDE LAKE AREA – “RIVIERA DEGLI ULIVI”
60 km, 800m climbing
DAY 4 – Tuesday
After a fast first stretch on asphalt we’ll come to Valpolicella, an area famous for its wines. Along the white roads of the vineyards, we’ll cross the lower part of the Valpolicella, arriving at the gates of Verona. The last section along the Adige River will take us directly to the heart of the city of Verona. Continuing, we’ll visit the Teodorico castle with a view over the city and a coffee in the historic center before returning to Peschiera by bike or by van ( skipping the last 30km ).
VALPOLICELLA WINE AREA
70 km, 480 m of climbing
Short Option: 40 km, 250m
DAY 5 – Wednesday
It’s time to recover your energy for the next day and do some sightseeing. Consider a visit to nearby Venice, Mantova, Milano, a village or two on the lake, or even a return to Verona. All are easily accessible by train, or bus.
DAY 6 – Thursday
The morainic hills sit within the strip of land that extends between the southern shore of Lake Garda and the Mantuan plain. It’s an area which, in addition to its natural beauty, panoramas and villages with historic pasts, offers a varied quantity of dirt roads , hard packed and very smooth to travel.
MORENIC HILLS AREA – “CUSTOZA”

DAY 7 – Friday
Gravel path offering a unique combination of asphalted sections in unique villages and off-road sections to explore all the majesty of Lake Garda
EAST SIDE LAKE – STRADE BIANCHE DEL GARDA
80 km, 1000 meters of climbing
DAY 8 – Saturday
We will have one final breakfast together, then say our goodbyes. We know you will be sad to leave, but you’ll return home with so many stories and photos to share. No doubt, you will have made many wonderful memories on this trip.

It’s a versatile bike designed for multiple terrains, from road rides to the white (gravel) roads in our area.
