Monte Grappa, Monte Bondone and Monte Baldo are climbs in northern Italy, in our vicinity, that have been made famous by epic cycling feats during the Giro d’Italia. They are the climbs that our local riders, both amateur and pro, seek out when they are ready for a challenge.
We are offering you a week of cycling dedicated to conquering these difficult climbs but with a tourist spirit to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area and the history that accompanies them.
Our Pinarello Dogme F is the perfect bike to take you on these high performance rides, light and responsive on the way up and agile and confident on the way down.
The rides are led by a local guide who speaks English and is knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. And though this week is dedicated to riding and climbing, rest assured we always know where the best café or gelateria is along the route!

DAY 2 – Sunday
The first ride winds along the Riviera degli Ulivi, starting and finishing at the Enjoy Garda Hotel and will be an excellent test to get the feel of your new Pinarello. The route begins along the lakefront where you will pass through some characteristic and charming lake villages. Turning away from the lake leads us up to Torri del Benaco. We begin to ascend a not so difficult climb, to the slopes of San Zeno di Montagna located along the south / west ridge of Monte Baldo. We’ll arrive at the highest point in Lumini, from where one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the lake can be enjoyed, then a descent that should not be underestimated, will take us to Caprino Veronese and a return to the hotel.

Giro d’Italia 1956: the Luxembourgian champion Charly Gaul is legendary for the time he rode the 242km stage with various Dolomite passes, arriving at the finish line at the top of Monte Bondone in the midst of a snowstorm with an 8-minute lead on second place. This feat earned him the honor of the climb being named after him. The climb has a length of 17.6 km with an average gradient of 7.8%.

The ride begins in Marostica, a historic medieval city with the famous Piazza degli Scacchi, which is home to a human sized chessboard. The route continues in the direction of Bassano del Grappa; a few km after the town, the arduous climb of Monte Grappa begins: 19.1km with an average gradient of 8.1%.
